Classes

New ‘Parent & Toddler Dance’ - starting August 2010

Classes available:
Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Street Moves & Break Dancing, Boyz Only Street Moves, Adult Tap and Jazz, Parent & Toddler Dance.

Children are accepted at the age of 2.5 years old, where by Ballet and Tap Rhythm (combined class) is taught through imaginative stories and rhymes. However children can attend our parent & toddler classes, from the age of 18 months old. When children are ready and have reached an appropriate age, they are given the option of modern theatre & jazz dance.

Classes incorporate free work, as well as the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus. The ISTD is the world's leading dance examination board and the only organisation to cover the full spectrum of dance examinations.

Examinations can be taken from 5 years old, in Ballet, Modern & Tap. All students will be given the opportunity to sit examinations, although it is not compulsory. However, pupils are encouraged to do so, partly as a measure of progress and also as a reward of their hard work.
